“A young girl and her dad came down the hallway where I was sweeping. I heard the dad ask the little girl what she wanted to do when they got home. The little girl replied, ‘Talk about God.’ How awesome to be blessed with the opportunity for our church to steward VBS for the community.”
"Two exciting things happened [Friday night] during VBS that made this whole crazy week so worth it. First thing was my friend’s daughter came up right after VBS and said, “I'm doing what they said to do AS SOON AS I get home!” I said, “And what is that?” She said, “Confess my sins and ask God into my heart." So, I prayed with her. Second, there was a teen boy sitting behind us talking to his sister when Pastor Trey was going over how we get into heaven. He said, “I thought we all go to heaven because God loves us all.” And just as he said it, Pastor Trey stepped right in and broke it down! I’m so thankful for such a wonderful delivery of the word. To just be a witness to the Holy Spirit at work was quite moving. The hustle and bustle of this whole crazy week is so worth it!"
